Bobbi goes to Washington - BTW did I mention that this picture is only possible because I dared to ask a Muslim woman who was nearby to take it. Then I found out she was taking pics of DC, her first time here, while her daughter (recovering from kidney replacement that was donated by the mom at GW University Hospital and therefore couldn't walk) circled the area in the car while her husband drove. And yes, when they stopped to pick mom up at the curbside, they were questioned by an officer on the street. It was a little surreal. Beautiful woman, warm and friendly. Through a chance conversation I met a beautiful family, loving husband, and a woman in love with the hope and promise of this country (besides me).
